Benefits of PM Vishwakarma Yojana 2025:-

PM Vishwakarma is a Central Sector Scheme launched on 17th September 2023 by the Prime Minister. It aims to provide complete support to artisans and craftspeople who work with their hands and tools. The scheme covers 18 trades, including carpentry, boat making, blacksmithing, goldsmithing, pottery, tailoring, and more.

• The scheme will be completely funded by the Union Government with a budget of ₹13,000 crore for five years (FY 2023-24 to FY 2027-28).
• Artisans and craftspeople can register for free through Common Service Centres (CSCs) using the biometric-based PM Vishwakarma Portal.
• Beneficiaries will receive a PM Vishwakarma Certificate and ID Card for identification and official recognition.
• Collateral-free loans will be provided in two phases:
  • ₹1 lakh (first tranche)
  • ₹2 lakh (second tranche)
  • Interest rate: 5% (with government subsidy).
• The scheme offers basic and advanced training, along with a ₹15,000 toolkit incentive to improve craftsmanship.

PM Vishwakarma Yojana- Eligibility Criteria:-

• Applicant must be an artisan or craftsperson working with hands and tools.
• Must be self-employed in the unorganized sector.
• Must be engage in one of the 18 traditional family-base trades under the scheme.
• Minimum age should be 18 years at the time of registration.
• Must be actively working in the trade on the registration date.
• Should not have taken loans under similar government credit schemes (e.g., PMEGP, PM SVANidhi, Mudra) in the last 5 years.
• Only one member per family can register and receive benefits under the scheme.

• Contact your bank to check your bank statement or inquire about loan status.
• Visit the official PM Vishwakarma portal at pmvishwakarma.gov.in.
• Log in using your registered mobile number and OTP.
• Navigate to the ‘Status’ section on the dashboard.
• Check the Loan Payment Status to see if the amount has been disbursed or if further action is needed.

Steps to PM Vishwakarma Yojana Online Apply 2025:-

Online Registration via CSCs:

• Eligible beneficiaries must enroll through the nearest Common Service Centre (CSC).
• Applicants can register on their own or with assistance from Village Level Entrepreneurs (VLEs) or Enumerators.

Registration Steps:

1. Visit the PM Vishwakarma official portal and click “Login” > “CSC – Register Artisans”.
2. On the “Registration Now” page, answer the Yes/No questions and click “Continue”.
3. Enter the OTP received on your Aadhaar-linked mobile number for Aadhaar verification.
4. Enter your Aadhaar number and registered mobile number, then click “Continue”.

Application Process:

1. Visit your nearest CSC and complete the biometric verification.
2. Fill out the online application form and submit it.
3. Note down the Application Number for future reference.
